The most unusual fish ever caught was a guitar fish, a type of shark whose front half looks like a sting ray and the rear half looks like a shark.
The largest fish ever caught was an approximately 12 foot Hammerhead shark. It was brought to the gunnel to be photographed and then released by cutting thru the braided steel leader.
